While Laios wasn't keen on bringing something unknown to the party while they made camp, he couldn't help but be insanely curious about the strange fruit he found in the dryad flower corpses.

So, of course, he tucked it away in his armor until he could inspect it further.

Their bellies were full from a nutritious meal Senshi had whipped up and Laios offered to take first watch, knowing it would give him ample opportunity to inspect the fruit. It was ripe, juices dripping when he squeezed it just a little too much, his fingers leaving indents in the flesh. It smelled sweet, and Laios was almost a little upset Senshi was asleep — it would make a great dessert.
